This story is nuts!!

New York Citys Todd Remis is suing his wedding photographer for not capturing his big day the way he wanted it despite the fact that he and his wife divorced in 2010.

Todd says that he paid  $4,100 to hire the H & H photography studio to take photos and video of his 2003 wedding to Milena Grzibovska. But when he discovered that the photographer had missed the last fifteen minutes of the party, including the last dance and bouquet toss, he got into a dispute with the studio that has landed them in litigation.

Remis is suing H&H for infliction of emotional distress, among other charges. In addition to getting a refund for his $4,100, Remis wants H & H to pay $48,000 to fly the weddings principals back to New York, so that a different photographer can re-shoot it.

Friends report that Remis wouldnt even know where to find his ex-wife for the staged wedding shoot, since shes fled to Latvia since their divorce. T

This Mexico wedding falls into our favorites category for so many reasons – the event was incredibly unique, totally authentic and overflowing with love, the photos just couldnt be better, and the couple themselves are people we adore. Photographers and Junebug members Ben and Erin Chrisman are two of the most special people weve been lucky enough to get to know over the past 5 years of Junebug, so of course were excited to take another look at their beautiful wedding post, originally published on March 14, 2011…

Today we have a very special Real Wedding thats so sweet it spans both of our blogs as well as our Real Wedding Library! Photographers Erin and Ben Chrisman are not only some of the very best wedding photographers in the world, they are also madly in love with one another and when youre lucky enough to see them together in person, there is no doubt that their love story is one for the ages.

Weve discussed this before, but some of you have expressed confusion in the comments lately, so I think it bears repeating.

The what to wear suggestions on the bottom of a wedding invite can be so bizarre, so Im going to go ahead and translate for you:

White tie is the most clear-cutand the one youre least likely to see. This is the only time, as a woman, Id feel obligated to wear a long dress. Guys wear tuxes with white shirts, ties, and vests.

For a black tie wedding, Im okay with wearing a dressy cocktail dress and nice shoes. (Rory would wear his tux, whichtrust meis super-cute.) The old rules of etiquette said women should wear long dresses, but as long as youre in the friends-of-the-bride-and-groom groupas opposed to the friends-of-the-parents groupI think a respectable, not-too-short short dress is fine.

Theres also creative black tie, which means guys are still expected to wear tuxes but they can have fun with their tie selection.

Bali weddings always make me want to pack my bags and head for the airport to join in the fun and sun! What a spectacular location for a destination wedding, and what a wonderful celebration we have to share with you today, courtesy of Tinydot Photography. Pink and gray wedding decor and the beauty of the Chinese and Balinese cultures, what a combination!

The Goals: Eva and Thomas were excited to host a destination wedding in Bali that was smaller and more intimate than the traditional 500 guest Hong Kong weddings they were used to. They wanted all of their guests to really get into traveling to such a beautiful location, so they incorporated lots of personal details, thoughtful surprises and bits of Balinese culture in their wedding details, even including a traditional balinese dance performance during the wedding reception.

The Design: The wedding day began with a beautiful traditional Chinese tea ceremony where Eva and Thomas served tea to their families and received blessings in return.

You just cant go wrong with white for a wedding, which makes this post about white and cream winter wedding color ideas, originally published on December 12, 2008, another of our favorites…

With winter well under way in most of the country, Im having visions of a winter wedding with a creamy white color palette, full of fabric texture, candle light, white on white patterns and delicate antique touches like vintage milk glass plates and serving dishes and pearl and cameo jewelry.

This post was fun as it pulled wedding inspiration from an unusual source, and resulted in a simply stunning wedding color combination of Mediterranean influenced blue, red and cream. Originally published on May 16, 2008, this ones a stunner!

While looking around for more inspirational images from famous fashion photographers, I was so excited to find the knockout portfolio of fashion and documentary portrait photographer Norman Jean Roy. I love the rich tones and the emotional depth in his photos, and couldnt resist creating an inspiration board out of one of my favorites.

Yuck! Id want to bail on this, too!

Writes Save the Date reader Karen:

Im a bridesmaid in my brothers wedding. My future sister-in-law has invited me to her lingerie shower. Do I have to attend? It seems like itll be awkward! How do I politely decline the invitation?

Here are my thoughts:

Perhaps Im a prude, but I dont want to think about my family members having sex. Ever. And while Ive never attended a lingerie shower, I imagine that the topic of sex is automatically on the tableoften!whether the bride is waving around a demure little teddy or a pair of crotchless panties.

In other words: I totally dont blame you for wanting to bail!

Im assuming someone is hosting a traditional shower for your future sister-in-law.
