Many of my clients have a new found love of frocks because they are a fast pull on and go and generally very comfortable. Sweater dresses are a fab Fall and Winter version of crisply woven Spring and Summer dresses. If you can find a style that works, heres an easy, practical and on-trend way to update the sweater dress look this season. 

Sweater Dress: Finding the right sweater dress can be tricky so refresh your memory about these tips. Personally, I like the option of a chunkier knit because its less clingy and more substantial. The length and style is to your taste. 

Opaque Tights: I like a tonal look with this outfit combination. For example, a grey sweater dress looks amazing with grey opaque tights. You could also wear sheer or patterned tonal tights, but opaques provide excellent coverage for sweater dresses with exposure.

Scarf: An optional extra and an effective colour vehicle. Some sweater dresses have collars that are more scarf-friendly like V-nceks, scoops or crew-necks. Cow

Alexandra: Our little ringer bearer announced ‘I gotta go pee’ in the middle of our vows which caused an eruption of laughter!  He stole the show!

Matt: Dancing the Tarantella as The Sun Messengers blasted their trumpets — everyone joined in!

A fashion faux pas is bound to be committed in every red carpet event. If there are best-dressed celebrities, there are bound to be worst-dressed one! The question now is who committed the grave fashion blunder at this years Emmy Awards?

On top of our list is Paz De La Huerta! She arrived on the red carpet wearing a pink gown that had a generous slit up her thigh. Actually the dress itself is good, it was her makeup and hair that made it look all out of place! She looked untidy with her hair all over the place and her makeup, gosh she looked scary! Her lipstick was terrible!

Next in line is Eve LaRue who was dressed in a peach frothy dress with silver accents all over the bodice. The dress didnt suit her coloring and the cut was just all wrong for her! The dress wasnt suited for a major event like the Emmys

Jane Krakowski committed a fashion blunder too.
