It’s royal wedding week, but stars in Hollywood are still getting engaged! Two blond bombshells received engagement rings this week.

Kate Hudson has a thing for rockers, and boyfriend (and soon-to-be baby daddy) Matt Bellamy, lead singer of the British rock band Muse, definitely fits the bill. Bellamy popped the question last week, but Hudson didn’t reveal the news until appearing on the Today Show with Matt Lauer. The engagement ring is a serious rock, with nearly 9 carats of sparkly diamonds. Hudson’s emerald-cut center stone is set in platinum and features tapered baguettes on the side.

Former Hills star Kristin Cavallari will be walking down the aisle, too! Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler popped the question over Easter weekend. Although Cavallari and Cutler have only been dating 8 months, friends close to the couple say it’s a match made in heaven.

Last night on an entertainment news channel …

There was a segment that featured a reportera grown man wearing a suiton a recumbent bike at a London gym that Kate Middleton may (or may not) have set foot in at some point in her life. Do YOU want to know how Kate Middleton got in shape for the royal wedding?

And in the photo above, Im counting fiveFIVE!reporters who are waiting on words of wisdom from a royal fan whos camped out in the streets of London in anticipation of the big day.

Seriously?

Im super-excited for the royal wedding (clearly!) but Im a little freaked out by the fact that every major news channelin America, no less!seems to have a countdown clock (featuring a Union Jack or a sapphire engagement ringor both!) ticking down the seconds to the royal wedding.

I feel like every time the wind changes direction, I stumble across more royal wedding news to share.

Almost every cohabiting couple tiffs over household chores now and then. When faced with a dirty sink, most of us will resort to one of two things: nagging our guy until he gives in, or doing it ourselves even though its definitely not our turn. Unless youre naturally generous, the latter usually leads to resentment, which is why Kelly Oxford, a contributor to GQ magazine, suggests that women offer men sexual favors in exchange for doing the chores. 5 “Man Chores” That Will Get Him To Do Housework

Yes, you read that correctly. Imagine coming home to a trash can overflowing with banana peels and a pizza box from two days ago. The last thing you want to do is haul it out, but your guys tired too and youre way past the spontaneous chivalry stage. Instead of wheedling him about being a gentleman, try offering him a blow job! Oxford also suggests miming a sexy gesture. The next thing you know, the trash will be empty and the two of you will be on the floor (after he washes his hands, of course).

The invites are out, and you’re waiting for the response cards to come back. What’s next? How about the programs? They’re one of the first things your guests receive on your wedding day. They’re great for sharing your backstory, outlining the ceremony, introducing the members of your bridal party, thanking all those who helped you out, and commemorating your loved ones who’ve passed on.

Think about how you’d like them handled, too. Will they be resting in a tray or bucket for guests to freely grab, or will ushers hand them out?

Here’s a round-up of my favorite programs from our couples.
