I love when antique furniture (or any furniture for that matter!) is used in wedding decor. Like I mentioned in my previous post, I love anything oldanything with a past or story. So whenever I attend weddings that have actual furniture to sit on, I feel like I am at some sort of royal wedding or something. Plus, its usually super comfy!

This story is nuts!!

New York Citys Todd Remis is suing his wedding photographer for not capturing his big day the way he wanted it despite the fact that he and his wife divorced in 2010.

Todd says that he paid  $4,100 to hire the H & H photography studio to take photos and video of his 2003 wedding to Milena Grzibovska. But when he discovered that the photographer had missed the last fifteen minutes of the party, including the last dance and bouquet toss, he got into a dispute with the studio that has landed them in litigation.

Remis is suing H&H for infliction of emotional distress, among other charges. In addition to getting a refund for his $4,100, Remis wants H & H to pay $48,000 to fly the weddings principals back to New York, so that a different photographer can re-shoot it.

Friends report that Remis wouldnt even know where to find his ex-wife for the staged wedding shoot, since shes fled to Latvia since their divorce. T

Fergie was a glittering sight as she hosted the New Years Eve bash at 1 OAK at The Mirage Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas! The Black Eyed Peas vocalist showed up at the 1 OAK red carpet in a gold mini dress by Nicolas Jebran.

She literally glittered up for the cameras thanks to her the gold chunks imbedded on her dress! Though the strapless dress had a chunky look, it emphasized Fergies curves really well. So as not to overdo the look, Fergie kept her accessories to a bare minimum. She paired her dress up with silver high heels and gold clutch.

New Years Eve was definitely a fun night for Fergie because she was accompanied by her other half Josh Duhamel. He also looked handsome in a black suit as he joined his wife for some photos on the red carpet.

Fergie chose a great outfit to welcome 2012 in and bid 2011 goodbye! Do you agree?

1-3. Rodial’s Life & Style range has three perfect gift sets to give. Pick up the Lounge scented candle set ($50), bathing balm and body soufflé in the Socialite scent ($70), or bathing balm and scented candle in Rehab ($60).

4. Keep it personal by gifting a throw pillow from Rock My Soul with their first initial on it ($50).

5. After teetering in heels or walking around in leather loafers all day, any host/hostess would be glad to kick it in Tommy Hilfiger’s Holiday Wool Slippers ($50) once the guests have left.

6. Guarantee a white Christmas with a Winter Wonderland Snowglobe ($24.50, available at Indigo).

7. Help them t

Heroine/ Hero: Our Latin bride – Angelica and her Beau – Ricky

We couldnt be more thankful to Civic Photography for the introduction of todays newlyweds, Angelica and Ricky. Their wedding is an effortless fusion of a vintage style with their Latin culture, where rich and breezy colors harmonize to make an event that is nothing short of breathless.

Pretty in Vintage

A Ringing Promise

Angelica and Ricky anticipated the ups, downs, twirls, and flops that wedding planning can instigate, and thats why these two didnt wait for the wedding day to commit to one another for better or for worse.  It was no argument that they both wanted a beautiful wedding and they continued to plan one day at a time. For many, they’re as reviled as fruitcake. They’ve got entire parties devoted to mocking them.

But this season, fashion editors are saying – with straight faces – that the holiday sweater is having a renaissance.

That’s right. The holiday sweater, in all its reindeer antler, snowflake printed glory, has been spotted on runways and in fashion-forward shops and websites.
