My second day at the Tides Inn had a little less physical activity than the first. After a leisurely morning bike ride through the town of Irvington and an afternoon of wine tastings and lunch, I went to visit the spa. I spent an hour in total bliss with the Tides of Change Signature Body Treatment. During this fabulous 60-minute treatment, I was scrubbed down with an Organic Undaria Body Polish, rich with sea minerals, (which left my skin super soft!), then had a focused 30-minute massage. Seriously, my back has never felt better.
Couples’ massage in the Lee Suite at the Tides Inn
While in the spa I inquired about treatments for bridal parties. The Spa at the Tides Inn features a full range of services, including hair, makeup, waxing services, innovative massages, facials and wraps! What more could a bride and her girls ask for? Couples can also enjoy a little RR before or after their big day with private treatments.
Wedding set-up!
While leaving the spa I was lucky enough to run across a small wedding set-up on the croquet lawn. With the bay in the background, this ceremony spot is totally picturesque! Though this wedding was small, the Tides Inn can host up to 150 wedding guests.
We wrapped up the trip that evening with a Cuisine of the Season Dinner in the Tides Inn’s East Dining Room. Executive Chef TV Flynn incorporated an abundance of local and seasonal produce into this menu, including tomatoes, crab, beets, asparagus and poultry. Each of our 5 courses was paired with a delicious sampling of wine, and the meal was topped off with a red, white and blue tart that was full of strawberries and blueberries. Needless to say I had to be rolled to my room after the meal!
Thank you so much to the Tides Inn for a fabulous trip! I had a wonderful time!
