According to photographer Mike Colón, couple Monique and Erik “are a dream,” and we can see why hed say so! Mike got to spend a super fun day with these two shooting their engagement photos in Beverly Hills at Greystone Mansion and in Malibu at the beach. Monique and Erik met as teenagers and their relationship has grown through college, dental school, law school and many years of long distance dating. You can see just how in love and happy they are together here as they prepared to finally become husband and wife. Makes me smile just looking at these intimate yet playful (and perfectly stylish) engagement photos!

Before the wedding day arrived, Monique was treated to a bridal shower at the gorgeous beach front hotel Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica, CA.

The Love Story of Nick and Shannon from WUW Indy on Vimeo.

For Nick, it was love at first sight. Shannon, however, wasn’t so sure. Both members of the same high school marching band, Shannon made it clear to Nick that he’d have to make some changes if he wanted to date her. After a couple years of being friends, getting to know one another, and making some of those necessary changes, the two did begin to date – but it didn’t last.
The couple reunited in June of 2009, when Nick was really ready to commit. They became engaged following what Shannon describes as “a figurative and literal trip down memory lane.” The scavenger hunt of significant locations ended on May 28, 2011, with Nick on one knee.

One month to the day following their engagement, the path to their happy ending encountered a major roadblock. Nick was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma. The world o

This story is nuts!!

New York Citys Todd Remis is suing his wedding photographer for not capturing his big day the way he wanted it despite the fact that he and his wife divorced in 2010.

Todd says that he paid  $4,100 to hire the H & H photography studio to take photos and video of his 2003 wedding to Milena Grzibovska. But when he discovered that the photographer had missed the last fifteen minutes of the party, including the last dance and bouquet toss, he got into a dispute with the studio that has landed them in litigation.

Remis is suing H&H for infliction of emotional distress, among other charges. In addition to getting a refund for his $4,100, Remis wants H & H to pay $48,000 to fly the weddings principals back to New York, so that a different photographer can re-shoot it.

Friends report that Remis wouldnt even know where to find his ex-wife for the staged wedding shoot, since shes fled to Latvia since their divorce. T

Heroine/ Hero: Our Latin bride – Angelica and her Beau – Ricky

We couldnt be more thankful to Civic Photography for the introduction of todays newlyweds, Angelica and Ricky. Their wedding is an effortless fusion of a vintage style with their Latin culture, where rich and breezy colors harmonize to make an event that is nothing short of breathless.

Pretty in Vintage

A Ringing Promise

Angelica and Ricky anticipated the ups, downs, twirls, and flops that wedding planning can instigate, and thats why these two didnt wait for the wedding day to commit to one another for better or for worse.  It was no argument that they both wanted a beautiful wedding and they continued to plan one day at a time.
