For the 4th of July, I was fortunate to spend a long weekend at my in-laws lake house. While there, I felt really inspired by all the earthy colors that surrounded me, such as the bright yellow flowers, deep purple berries, woodsy bark, and forest moss. Congrats are in order for Kelsey Grammer – the former Frasier star married his current sweetheart, former British flight attendant Kayte Walsh, in a lavish New York ceremony this past weekend!

“Kelsey Grammer and Kayte Walsh were married today at a private ceremony for family and friends,” his rep said in a statement.

According to People.com, Grammer, 55, and Walsh, 29, slipped rings onto each others fingers at a ceremony held at the Longacre Theater in the Big Apple.

Guests are calling Chris Boshs nuptials The Royal Wedding of Miami, and for good reason! The Miami Heat star originally tied the knot with wife Adrienne Williams back in April because of his busy NBA schedule, but the couple threw an extremely lavish wedding celebration this past weekend at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach that included fireworks, a Sweetheart Pool, photo booth, and eight essential oils and natural ingredients created for the couple and their guests.

According to People, Williams wore a strapless Oscar de la Renta gown accented with a belt and a Chantilly Lace veil with crystal accents on silk tulle. Her something blue? A pair of $10,000 custom-created Christian Louboutin heels with the bottoms painted blue!

So who were the lucky guests that got to attend the $300,000 party?

Im a bridesmaid in my brothers wedding. My future sister-in-law has invited me to her lingerie shower. Do I have to attend? It seems like itll be awkward! How do I politely decline the invitation?

Here are my thoughts:

Perhaps Im a prude, but I dont want to think about my family members having sex. Ever. And while Ive never attended a lingerie shower, I imagine that the topic of sex is automatically on the tableoften!whether the bride is waving around a demure little teddy or a pair of crotchless panties.

In other words: I totally dont blame you for wanting to bail!

Im assuming someone is hosting a traditional shower for your future sister-in-law.

Poor Jessica Simpson. Whether she packs on a few pounds or is snapped by shutterbugs looking sexy and slim, the media will always have something to say about her figure. This has certainly been the case ever since the blonde beauty announced that she and her current main squeeze, former NFL player Eric Johnson, are in the midst of wedding planning.

Now, gossipmongers are going gaga for the fact that Simpson, 30, has been photographed making frequent trips to the gym. The supposed reason? To make sure shes wedding dress-ready. The increased attention left the former reality star so peeved that she took to her Twitter account to vent her frustration.

“Yes, I am working out, but why is that worth any sorta [sic] press?” she wrote on the social networking site.
