Lets kick off today with a big hootin HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the one and only Fri!!!! Shes one of the hardest working women I know! Everyday shes on the grind creating unique, storytelling visuals of inspiration. Today I want to recognize and celebrate, in addition to her fashionista persona, a couple, amongst thousands, of ways in which she is a beautifully brilliant woman.
1: TELLING TASTE I think we can all agree that her impeccable taste has been a colorful anecdote for something as large as wedding planning to something as simple as a dull day.
2. HOPE HUNTER She not only dreams passionately big, but chases these hopes with a spunky bravery where you cant help but have faith in her.
One day Fri and I came across a piece of paper where she had etched a list of goals. We were both interested in this discovery, but I could see Fri was both excited and a bit nerve stricken. Can you believe that within a year she accomplished ALL 12 goals? I never expected anything less, but I suddenly found myself delightfully lucky to have such an inspirational friend.
3. ALLURING AMUSEMENT Fri has an ability to revive moments of labor, boredom, and despair into times of animated gleefulness. Frequently, Fri and I get together to work and habitually, its pure comedy. Not only is she inherently funny but she graciously makes me feel funny too.
4. NOSTALGIC NEIGHBOR Shes magnetic; if she doesnt already know that, everyone else does! Weekly, we encounter perfect strangers and weekly, those strangers find a new friend.
5. KEEPSAKE KISS Just giving a quick shout out to her other half, her hubby! Wedding Nouveau has a sincere love at the heart of its creation. Fri found her personal wedding experience as inspiration and we couldnt be more happy about it!
6. YOUTHFUL YOKE Shes a loving mother, plain and simple. For Nahlas birthday Fri handcrafted and put up all of the decorations for a park picnic. Can you believe someone had the uncanny idea to jack a one year olds party decor!? You have to know, that Fri (with some family help) managed to not go buy but to re-craft the decorations with a mere hour before guest arrivals.
