Admittedly, India is one of my all time must-visit-before-I-die places. So Im pretty biased when it comes to submissions that are affiliated with anything India. That said, its to no surprise that when my friend, Carlos Andres Varela sent over this stunning engagement session, I was practically foaming at the mouth.
We last featured Carlos during Nick and Kalis lavishly festive and beautiful, Greek fusion wedding in NYC. This time hes back taking us on a journey halfway around the globe to the Jaipur, India.
JAIPUR CONVERSATION TIPS: Located in the Rajasthan state of Indian, Jaipur is on of Indias oldest cities. It was built in the 18th century (1727) by Maharaj Jai Singh II, whos vision for a fortified and well designed city, followed the architectural rules of Shilpa Shastras.
Today, Jaipur is the commercial center of the region with its residents speaking Rajasthani (as the primary language). Other languages are Marwari, Hindi and English. You can definitely saturate your mind with all things related to Jaipur custom and culture, here.
